Dwayne Brown
Founder + Community Curator
LinkedIn Profile
For over four decades, Dwayne Brown has been more than just a corporate portrait photographer in Canada—he's been a mentor and a connector at heart. His love for capturing images of people and fostering relationships between creative minds sparked the idea for Headshots Matter. Under his guidance, a simple idea to connect photographers with potential clients has evolved into a larger supportive community. Dwayne takes great pride in the HSM community, where we celebrate each photographer's unique creative voice and entrepreneurial successes.
This spirit of community and connection is also reflected in Dwayne's award-winning loveOttawa project, which showcases Ottawa's vibrant culture and spirit. His latest project, "60 at 60," marks his dual milestones: 40 years in the photography business and his 60th birthday. These special black-and-white portraits profile people who have significantly influenced his career and life.
